Psalm 145

Psalm 145 Contemporary English Version (CEV) (By David for praise.) The Lord Is Kind and Merciful 145 I will praise you, my God and King, and always honor your name. 2 I will praise you each day and always honor your name. 3 You are wonderful, Lord , and you deserve all praise, because you are much greater than anyone can understand. 4 Each generation will announce to the next your wonderful and powerful deeds. 5 I will keep thinking about your marvelous glory and your mighty miracles. [ a ] 6 Everyone will talk about your fearsome deeds, and I will tell all nations how great you are. 7 They will celebrate and sing about your matchless mercy and your power to save. 8 You are merciful, Lord ! You are kind and patient and always loving. 9 You are good to everyone, and you take care of all your creation. 10 All creation will thank you, and your loyal people will praise you. 11 They will

MAF

We are always encouraged when missionaries visit with testimonies, stories and information about what they are doing and where they are serving around the world.  This is extra special when we know the misisonaries - and Sunday 15th April gave us opportunity to share a special time with our MAF missionaries David and Naomi.  They are currently working in PNG with Mission Aviation Fellowship - Click here to find out more about MAF .  David also shared with us about his recent trip to Bangladesh.  Please pray for our missionaries across the world.  They go into countries and situations we never experience in Australia. Thank you David and Naomi and family for sharing a very special time with us! May you be blessed in the very important work you do serving God through MAF. TCC

We have a God Who restores Us!

John Chapter 19 - 20:1-22; Matthew 9:9, Hebrews 10:1-22 Celebrating Easter - the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ - our God restores us to Himself! All Christians are saints, sanctified.  I am what God has created me to be! -o0o- What does sanctified mean?  (From The Free Dictionary ) sanc·ti·fy (s ngk t -f ) tr.v. sanc·ti·fied , sanc·ti·fy·ing , sanc·ti·fies 1. To set apart for sacred use; consecrate. 2. To make holy; purify. 3. To give religious sanction to, as with an oath or vow: sanctify a marriage. 4. To give social or moral sanction to. 5. To make productive of holiness or spiritual blessing.

Inspiration in Living God’s Love

Bible Ref: 1 John 3:16-24; John 14:23; Isaiah 40:28-31; Romans 8:14 A question posed – “If you lose everything will you still have your faith?” We can’t love in our strength – we will fail.   Putting our faith in Jesus Christ is what we need to do.   Our faith in Christ is a) Loving Christ first, b) love the brethren and then we can c) love the world.   When we are led by the Spirit we will show the fruit of the Spirit in our lives. We come together to celebrate God – He gives us the inspiration and restoration. In Isaiah 40, Isaiah takes the people to task for being without hope when their spirit is under affliction.   We are to be human beings NOT human doings.   This passage was written to inspire and arouse God’s people to have emotion – to be and not to do.

Love One Another

Bible Ref:   John13:35; 2 Peter 3:9; Acts 1:8; Matthew 24:14; Col. 2:19; Psalm 95:1-7 As Christians we are to meet others needs in love. We’re not their judge, maker or creator.   Church is to be a place where we can demonstrate John 13: 25 “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Even Christian is to be a minster.   Every Christian   is called to be in ministry.   Every task is worthwhile.   God uses ordinary people.   God has saved us, restored us, given us abilities.   The kingdom of God never stops growing.   On earth we can a) sin (that’s what all human beings do) and b) tell others about God and the message of salvation.   In heaven we do neither. God gives the resources and authority to His people.   We don’t have to go to Bible College to tell others about God’s message of Hope and the Good News of Salvation.   We are to be a spoken witness taking the Gospel to all men and women across the world.   He call all people of all nations a
