He says, what a wretched man I am; he wants to be rid of the sin nature that is a burden to the saved soul. Yet Paul comforts himself with three things: - a righteousness deep within him - the Law of God written in him by the Holy Spirit (Romans 7:16);that he delights in the Law of God in the inward man (Romans 7:22) All who are born again, delight in the law of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 4:16 - his great comfort lay in Jesus Christ Whether we believe it or not, we are winning.
