1 John 1:1-10 Choices in life is very important.  The choices you make matter. There  were two men who died in the past year.  Both died in their 90's.  Both grew up in Christian homes.   One chose to fulfil their ministry in God and one chose to fulfil their lusts in this physical life. We must realise who God is.  Acceptance of who God is.  God has ways to help us deal with our sin.  He does not want us to  'flog' ourselves.   The Old Testament sacrifices covered sin; the New Testament tells us our sin is washed clean.
