In I Timothy: 1 v 12-15. Paul writes to Timothy about being a faithful servant to God and the conduct which is expected of him in serving. In the epistle of 1 Timothy Paul speaks about dressing modestly, he speaks about the roles of deacons and bishops and apostasy in the church. But before he writes about these moral standards in the church he was humble enough to confess and write about the type of man be used to be before the grace of God transformed his life. Paul mention’s the fact that he used to be a blasphemer, a persecutor and an insolent man. Paul also wrote in verse 15 that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. Paul shows great humility in which he highlights his many flaws so that he can exalt the grace and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ. Paul’s encounter with the Lord Jesus on the road to Damascus and the transformation in his life is a testimony every one of us can relate to. I believe Paul left us a pattern to follow in
