Restoration and Our Part in It

Romans Chapter 11 Israel and God’s faithfulness 11 So I ask you, has God rejected his people? Absolutely not! I’m an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God hasn’t rejected his people, whom he knew in advance. Or don’t you know what the scripture says in the case of Elijah, when he pleads with God against Israel? 3 Lord, they have killed your prophets, and they have torn down your altars. I’m the only one left, and they are trying to take my life. 4 But what is God’s reply to him? I have kept for myself seven thousand people who haven’t bowed their knees to Baal. 5 So also in the present time there is a remaining group by the choice of God’s grace. 6 But if it is by grace, it isn’t by what’s done anymore. If it were, God’s grace wouldn’t be grace. 7 So what? Israel didn’t find what it was looking for. Those who were chosen found it, but the others were resistant. 8 As it is written, God gave them a dull spirit, so that their eyes would not see and thei

WALK IN VICTORY

Rom 10 1.  Israel really misunderstood way to salvation. 2.  Salvation is by faith. 3.  JC has fulfilled whole law.  The father sees Jesus and we are counted just because of this. 4.  No matter how bad you think you are; God’s grace is greater. 5.  The Jews looked to the law, not to grace 6.  Martin Luther found grace in God’s word. ‘The people at that time did not believe God’s grace sufficient. 7.  God’s grace is sufficient.  By the righteousness Jesus Christ gives you thru your faith. 8.  Because they misunderstood God’s grace and message of salvation. 9.  The generation that came out of Egypt, died because they didn’t believe. 10.  God has given you a gift, salvation, claim it.  God has given u a territory, use it. 11.  Church was the center light, now we are a little light shining in darkness 12.  God called them to into and possess it B.   All who call upon the name of the lord will be saved. Philippians 1 - Our Secret to Joy is to follow and live Jesus'example and to serve others around us

Philippians 1:1-26 (NIV) Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, To all God’s holy people in Christ Jesus at Philippi, together with the overseers and deacons[a]: 2 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Thanksgiving and Prayer 3 I thank my God every time I remember you. 4 In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, 6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. 7 It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart and, whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God’s grace with me. 8 God can testify how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus. 9 And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, 10 so that you may be able to discern what is best a

Seeing God

“We may speak about a place where there are no tears, no death, no fear, no night; but those are just the benefits of heaven. The beauty of heaven is seeing God.” ― Max Lucado

Romans 8: Being in God's Family

Bible References:  Romans 8; Rev. 12:7-12; Rev. 14:13-16; Psalm 23 -o0o- Romans 8 (GNB) : There is no condemnation now for those who live in union with Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit, which brings us life in union with Christ Jesus, has set me free from the law of sin and death.  What the Law could not do, because human nature was weak, God did. He condemned sin in human nature by sending his own Son, who came with a nature like our sinful nature, to do away with sin. God did this so that the righteous demands of the Law might be fully satisfied in us who live according to the Spirit, and not according to human nature. Those who live as their human nature tells them to, have their minds controlled by what human nature wants. Those who live as the Spirit tells them to, have their minds controlled by what the Spirit wants. To be controlled by human nature results in death; to be controlled by the Spirit results in life and peace. And so people become enemies of God when
