Your Choice

Bible references:  John 5:30; 6:38; Eph 6:15-16; Eph 2:1, 5 We do have problems but we shouldn't have.   It's done! Jesus died on the cross.  He rose again.   As his people we should live in victory. After the cross: He rose on 3rd day He ascended into heaven The Holy Spirit came down Romans 7:7-12 When law introduced to us we have this rebellious nature in us Law in its fullness = life Law not fulfilled = death We can't fulfill law ourselves,  we can't get there.  Christ died for us. The law was excellent.   The problem is us.  The law has been fulfilled by Christ.   He fulfilled it, not us. Romans 8:1-5 We can't live the law perfectly. The law was excellent. The cross has been done; Jesus gives us life.  He then gives us the Spirit. We can choose whether to stand on our own merits (keep every law) or stand in the Lord (grace) Your choice in life- sin or Christ. Slave of sinfulness or a slave of righteousnessness.  Our choice. Choose lawlessness

Friend of God?

Bible Ref: John 17:4; Luke 19:10; Romans 3:23-25 Hezekiah -  the gold and silver didn't save him.  He went to Isaiah to ask for God's help.  185000+ Assyrians killed by angel.  Why did God help?  Hezekiah and Isaiah were friends of God We are a friend of God Jeremiah 31 Jesus fulfilled the Law. Ceremonial law has been fulfilled 10 commandments still applicable today.  We need to read God's Word We are not catholic we are not protestant.   We are the people of God!  If I am a friend of God he will help me because I am a friend of Him. Last words of Jesus were 'It is finished.' (Gospel of John)  (paid in full) Not only did He die He is also the fulfillment of the Law. Read Scripture.   If your idea doesn't match with scripture then your idea should be chucked out. Paid in full- all the little bits, hard bits, things we don't remember.   Jesus paid all in full. God is not interested in the detail of your life,  He is interested in your life.  It'

World's Perspective v God's Perspective

Bible References:  1 John 4:7-12; Matthew 26; Ps 12:1-8 What makes the times bad? World's perspective: Lack of money, education, war, no work... From God's point of view: 2 Tim 3:1 When righteousness goes times are bad; God lives in the praises of his people.  When the poor and needy are oppressed times are bad. God cares for the fatherless, and poor,  the needy. What answers do we have for such times for us?  We are called to confession and  repentance. Sort out problems with God. Sin - People who are evil; people who have evil intent & the proud. Go to God and praise him.  Worship and honour him.  Do what he says to do.  He will help us. No matter what our faults,  God is faithful. We are to love people and bring them to God.  God does the "work" in their lives. Scripture is about God and His people.  Not about God and this world;  it is a history of God and his people. Put your life into God's hands, he will look after you. Go to

About the Bible

The Bible is God's Word to us. Human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit wrote it. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because God inspires it, it is the truth without any mixture of error. John 20:30-31 1. Miracles which declare His Divinity. (1) His design of a miracle was open and graceful, not in the name of another, but in His own. “I say unto thee, Arise,” this distinguishes Him from prophets and apostles. (2) The miracles of healing He did were with His authority and just the same as God to forgive sins. (3) When He drove the buyers and sellers out of the Temple, He claimed as His own that Temple in which He often appeared as a common worshipper. (4) And when He cast out devils, they sometimes confessed Him as the Son of God. 2. The Lord appeared among men in the lowest of condition,  yet He gathered a people who were to receive Him as, “the Son of God.” There were “signs” which manifest

What the gospel of Christ reveals

Galatians 1:1-5; Paul was an apostle of Jesus Christ and he was appointed by him and so by God the Father, who is one with the Son, and the Father appointed Christ as Mediator. Grace, includes God's good-will towards us, and his good work upon us and His peace. This comes from God the Father, as the source, through Jesus Christ. But observe, first grace, and then peace; there can be no true peace without grace. Christ gave himself for our sins, to make atonement for us - the justice of God required this and to this he freely submitted. The greatness of the price of sin is so great, that it could not be put away except the Son of God be given for it. Mark well the words, “for our sins.” We need to be redeemed from the wrath of God, and the curse of the law; but also to recover from wicked practices and customs, to which we are naturally a slave to. We are delivered from this present evil world by the sanctification of the Spirit and freed from its condemnation by the blood of Jesus
