Whatever you do, don’t lost your song!

The tests of life reveal how well you take instruction, what you've learned, and what you'll do in any given set of circumstances. What you've been taught is only theory, until it's been tested on real fire. Chuck Swindoll tells the story of a bird named Chippy: 'Chippy the parakeet never saw it coming. One second he was peacefully perched in his cage singing, the next he was sucked in, washed up, and blown over. His problem began when his owner decided to clean his cage with a vacuum. She stuck the nozzle in to suck up the seeds and feathers at the bottom of the cage. Then the phone rang. Instinctively she turned to pick it up. She'd barely said 'hello' and then ‘sswwwwPPPPP!’ Chippy got sucked in. The owner gasped, dropped the phone and snapped off the vacuum. She unzipped the bag and there was Chippy alive, but stunned; covered with heavy black dust. She grabbed Chippy and rushed to the bathtub, turned on the faucet full blast and held Chippy u

Life is Life- strength, Christ in our hearts & know the greatness of God in our life

Ephesians 3:14-21 Acts 9 (Saul met Jesus and is saved) Why is culture important? It's set by God.   To destroy people, change the culture. Paul was a Benjaminite, a Pharisee, but he didn't know the revelation until  he met Jesus. The family to which we belong is the Church of the family of Abraham. Paul prepared to let God be god and take his direction from God. Three things: God's strength in our inner man; The Church (God's people); He has given the Holy Spirit in us. Faith in God's plan for your life. We will then know the surpassing greatness of God's grace in our life. Where are the prayers of our heart at this moment?  Each and every one of us to answer this question. Why is this important? Are you interested in what God wants to do?  He is interested in what you want to do. Q. Could you give a personal example of the greatness of God in your life? How big is your prayer?  Would you trust God more than the leaders of our nation? Where am I

Ephesians 3:14-21

This represents Paul's second prayer for the church.  For the power of the Holy Spirit in the church. Ephesians 1:16-17 you will see Paul asks for wisdom and revelation for the church, so we may know him better. It's in our knowing God that we grow up and have a relationship with God. Ephesians 3:14-21 - Paul is on his knees and giving reverence to God. Paul has come in humility not in pride.    When you read scripture Paul had to say a lot of things that upset people but this shows Paul really giving God the reverence and honour. v15  this is about every family on earth that wants to commit to God derives their name from Abraham. We are of the family of Abraham. 3 things prayed for: - prays for Holy Spirit being in us (v16) - Christ be in us (v17-18) - fullness of God (v19) It shows us each member of the Trinity has.  That we have Christ, the Holy Spirit and God in us. v 21 giving Christ glory so that future generations can continue. v 20  How do we get this glory

Ephesians ch 3 (the mystery revealed)

Acts 9:1-16 as background into reading Ephesians 3 (mystery which was revealed in New Testament) • Saul's conversion - when he met Jesus! • Jesus would show Saul how much he would have to suffer for Jesus name Ephesians chapter 3: •  why did God choose gentiles? •  to make Jews jealous so they would come back to God •  the Mystery which forms an integral part of the gospel •  we don't have to have lots of programs, meetings •  live each day with God in our lives, daily relationship with God •  Ephesians ch 3 - Paul's explanation of his calling •  how often the word  'mystery 'is written •  explanation of the Mystery •  In ch 2 "you were dead in sin according to the world..."  •  the Mystery is Christ In Us!  Really simple.   Paul was one of the top rabbis •  Jesus had been to rabbi school •  through OT God was trying to get the people to know Him •  Paul received his commission in Acts 9 •  Paul studied the Law - he knew the Law then he m

Game Changer - Dealing in the Courts of Heaven

Bible Ref:  Job 1:5;  Ephesians 2:6;  Colossians 2:14; Daniel 7 :10; Hebrews 4:13 Sid Roth - It's Supernatural Robert Henderson: When Jesus died on the cross, legal transaction completed.   Don't action in battle field but in courtroom. Psalm 139:16 Luke 11 & 16 Hebrews 12:22-24 Hebrews 4:13 1 Peter 5:8 Satan has a case against us in the courts of heaven.   Sort out in the court of heaven, not in the battle field. The widow went to the judge, not the adversary.  This way the adversary was legally rendered unable to go against her. (Parable of widow who went to judge) Luke 22:32 (Satan demanded Peter be  taken to court to stop Peter getting the destiny God had for him.  Jesus went to court to make sure Peter received what God wanted for him) Intercessors repent, pray for those who can't do so for themselves until they can do this for themselves.
