"As for me, I know that my Redeemer lives,

In tough times do we remember that our redeemer lives, and that we will yet see God? We can hold onto the promises of God’s Word during the difficult times in our lives.
It’s easy to become defensive or strike out with harsh words when we are under stress. I know because I have done this. I have also had to live with the consequences of such actions – broken friendships, distrust of others because of their actions, being defensive about what I am doing or decisions I’ve made. But hurting others with words doesn’t build people positively, it hurts and builds wall between people.
Job wanted God to answer him. Plain and simple Job wanted God Himself to explain why he had to go through such dark times. Job sought God during this time of great suffering and misery. His friends sought to be “wise “and ended being chastised by God. God answers Job, and Job realises that his human mind cannot comprehend all that God is or know the full picture. God sees everything beginning to end. We can only see a very small part of the whole picture of His story.
We can’t always fix others situations, we can’t usually change much at all. We can however pray, and sit with those who are going through tough times that are not brought on by sin. Life happens. Life isn’t always easy. Life is making choices. Life is knowing, believing, that our redeemer lives and we will yet see Him.
