Memory Verse: Hebrews 11:6 " And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. "

We are born again by the:
  • Spirit of God
  • Word of God
  • Will of God
  • Mercy of God
On the cross Jesus Christ said Ït is finished". Once you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour you don't need to keep striving to be saved.  You Are saved.  God accepted you as you are when you came to Him.  Like a parent who delights in their children, so God delights in you - his son; his daughter.

Jesus Christ has brought and wrought out your salvation.  We can't add or take away from what He has done.  Nothing we can do by working hard, striving to be our best will add to the act of Salvation.  It is a free gift which must simply be accepted in faith.  By trying to strive with good works, money, etc we won't get to heaven.  We must simply accept - believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord and Saviour of our lives and hand our life to Him.

This doesn't mean just doing nothing.  Once we become a Christian, we should be about builing a relationship with Him.  How?  Read your Bible, Pray everyday (communicate), spend time with Him.  This is how we build our relationships with each other - by spending time together and communicating.

Every Christian has a ministry - we are ambassadors of Christ in the minstry of reconciliation.

Our righteousness come from Jesus Christ.  We are a new creation - God takes our lives and reshapes and remolds us.  We are called as God's people to LOVE one another.  This shows that we also love God and He is in us.  Sometimes, we just need to sit quietly with one another and with God and enjoy each other's company.

Prayer Point:  Pray for those who have wandered off their God path and have lost hope.  Pray that they will seek Him and that fellow believers will journey with them through their difficult time.
Praise:  That Jesus Christ is always with us.  Our future is secure in Him.

The Voice of Experience

We don't know from one day to the next what will happen but God is our constant.  We are not here to build "castles" but to proclaim the Message and when we're done we take the Father's hand and go home. The following story shows us the voice of experience - we can learn a lot from a child's perspective... Sandcastles by
