Heralders of the Gospel (Part 5)

We are God's people and we need to behave as God's people. John 13

2 Timothy 1:8-10 Paul tells Timothy not to be ashamed of the testimony of the Lord nor of Paul as a prisoner. Paul encourages Timothy not to be afraid of his faith. In the battles of life cowardice is not a good thing. Being ashamed of your faith is a product of your doubt and a product of your fear. Talking about how our faith works in our life. With our salvation comes a way we should live as believers in Christ.

The conquer dictates how history and laws (morals) are taught. Who are the strong? Technically YOU. You have the Holy Spirit and God's Word. You the one saved in Christ Jesus. Image this! A man is not to consult his conscience! It is like a man who has saved his purse but lost his goal. He makes his decisions but not based on God but on his own thinking.

God's rules are true - do right thing and rewarded. Do the wrong things and face punishment /no reward. Man must worship. Even people who are opposed to any belief to do with God. Man is made in image of God so man must worship. If not God they will be like the man who cut down a tree and made an image with half and burnt the other half to cook his food. God works up.

His form of government - big guys down below and brings up the weak and lowly. Our government is opposite to this. The Holy Spirit is as much alive in you as in me. All equal.

On the cross the Lamb of God takes away the sin of the world. Human life is divine. God gave us a world to enjoy. It's a world of colour, sound, motion, taste, enterprise. We have eyes and hands we can lift up to heaven. Hands to work. Knees to bend and pray. Grace does not mean we don't have to do anything. No. God's involved in the world. If you take God out of the equation then there is nothingness.

Israel was chosen by God and put in a special place to show the world God's morality. The church chosen by God and put in a special place to show the world God's morality. Don't live a life apart from God.

Don't be like a wild donkey destroying things/others around us. As Christ was conscreated to the Father so should we be to Him.

There are some people who know God's will and not endure in it. We should be opposite. We're not to be ashamed of testimony of God in our life. Don't lose heart. Stand up for what you believe in - your faith.

The Voice of Experience

We don't know from one day to the next what will happen but God is our constant.  We are not here to build "castles" but to proclaim the Message and when we're done we take the Father's hand and go home. The following story shows us the voice of experience - we can learn a lot from a child's perspective... Sandcastles by
