Lord prepare me to be a Sanctuary...

Lord prepare me to be a sanctuary....

Edification means to build up.
Sanctification means to become holy.
Justification means to be made right with God through the death of Jesus Christ.

A believer cannot commit the unpardonable sin.

John 3:6-8: on earth you are born physically through your mother and a father.   But when you are born of the spirit, you are born of God.

The world  (the flesh) cannot understand this.

2 Corinthians 5:17  one of the mistaked we can make as a Christian is to try and go back to the old life.

Who gives us eternal life?  The Lord.   If you are born again of God; you cannot do unpardonable sin because you cannot deny the truth about what God has done for us.

John 10:27  - The Lord's people.  Anyone who tries to snatch God's people away commits the unpardonable sin.   As parents we love and care for our kids and when they do crazy stuff we still forgive them.

Jesus said we have eternal life. Our salvation is held by God.  No one can snatch a believer away from God; the believer will go back to God and it will cause great pain to the nation.

2 Corinthians 5:17 - we are  a new  creation.

Romans 6 - by our baptism we share in his death  and by the power of the Holy Spirit to share in the new life.

You don't own your salvation; God does.

Jesus told Pharisees and leaders that they were known by their father - Satan.

If you are worried about  not being saved then confess, repent and receive. If we have been born again, then we won't be worried about our salvation because we know we are saved by faith in Jesus Christ.

1 John 1:8-9

Job - early chapters - courts of heaven.

Jesus is our mediator, advocate. He pleads our case before the Father.

1 Timothy 1 - Paul was killing church and God did a work in his life and turned him around.

Matthew 9:3-6 - some of the leaders said Jesus blasphemed.  Jesus knew the thoughts of their hearts.  If Jesus can heal a man by speaking, surely he can forgive us our sins.

Anyone who preaches anything  but Jesus Christ is not a Christian.

Jesus justified you; now he wants to sanctify you.  You are to be a sanctuary.

Isaiah 64:6 - we can't combine the best of our works with the work of the cross.  When we receive what Jesus has done in the work of the cross.
The best works of man do not mix with the cross.  However when you are saved you can do the works of God.  Salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

To understand who Jesus is and what He has done for you is a revelation  from God.

We don't know from one day to the next what will happen but God is our constant.  We are not here to build "castles" but to proclaim the Message and when we're done we take the Father's hand and go home. The following story shows us the voice of experience - we can learn a lot from a child's perspective... Sandcastles by
