Santification

We are justified by our faith in Jesus Christ.

Santification - living our lives in Christ Jesus daily.

Hebrews 13:12
1 Corinthians 6:11

We are sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

We are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus went down and buried our sin in victory.   We often see life as a hard slog but it shouldn't be.
We can't earn anything through our own effort - it can only be accomplished through surrender.
Surrender isn't what we like to do.
Once we do we will see God at work in our life. It is a matter having to do like a judicial standing before God.   Not because of what we have done but what He has done.  We believe in Jesus Christ alone and put our faith in Him.  God wants us to know Him; spend time with Him.   God doesn't just want to save us but make us fit for heaven.

John 17:19 - with  Jesus santification is part of his deal.

Santification is a gift given exclusively through the cross.

Hebrews 10:10
1 John 1:9

Our faith in Jesus Christ brings us through.

Acts 26:15

Blood - justifies us.  The blood of the animal in OT covered their sin.  Jesus' blood washes our sin away- once for all.

Water  - sanctifies us.  The Lord is our righteousness and sanctification.
1 Corinthians  1:30

Jeremiah 23:6  my righteousness is because of God, not by anything I have done.  We should live this out.

Romans 4:5-6
Jesus is our sanctification.   We are his saints.  "Hagioi'  (greek)  means sanctified once.

Jesus has done the work.  Accept it.   We're all priests and that is strictly by faith in the blood of Christ alone.

God sanctifies you so you are fit to live in heaven.

It's the time of the booths  - the Holy Spirit lives in us.

The Voice of Experience

We don't know from one day to the next what will happen but God is our constant.  We are not here to build "castles" but to proclaim the Message and when we're done we take the Father's hand and go home. The following story shows us the voice of experience - we can learn a lot from a child's perspective... Sandcastles by
