Each day...

When God saves us he justifies us; he sanctifies us, makes us fit for heaven.  He wants us to grow up and mature.

The need for Christians to mature and be accountable.  He saves us and gives us mercy.  It's not ok to be saved and live in sin.  He saved us to rise above sin.

Ephesians 2:8-10
Romans 12:1-8

Everyday we are to dedicate our body to God each day.   Each day...
Not just every now and then, or once a week BUT every day.

1.  We dedicate our body to God each day.  To offer as sacrifices to God.
The most spiritual act anyone can do is to dedicate our body to God every day.  Don't give the enemy a foothold.

2. God wants you to eliminate all distractions from your life.   Eg motor cars; health; things.

Let God transform your mind.  Let him teach you.   Let God do the work in you.   Yield to God.

If you want an act to happen in your body; it has to start in your mind.

3.  Everyone likes a know-it-all...do they??? We need to be ready to excercise wherever God wants us to be; even if it's not in the area of your gifting.

If we gift project, we end up having a fight.  If we need to sweep the floor, do so.  Don't get big ideas about yourself.

4.  We cooperate to make a body.  Families who pray together, stay together.  We don't all have the same functionin a family but get along; in love.

1 Corinthians 12 - every member in Christ's body is a minister of Jesus Christ.  Our full time job is to be a minister of Jesus Christ; your part-time job is to earn money to live whilst on earth. (e.g. vv 13, 14,ff)

What we do in private, affects the whole body.  How we behave when not together matters.

A lot of times people don't use the gift God has given.   We need to activiate the gift. Use what we have been given.

Paul wrote 1 Corinthians 13 between chapter 12 and 14.  The church should be built on love, honour and respect.   We need the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 13

We put our faith in the hope that God loves us that much that He saves us.

God wants us to grow up and mature.  He also wants us to be Ambassadors for Christ!

The Voice of Experience

We don't know from one day to the next what will happen but God is our constant.  We are not here to build "castles" but to proclaim the Message and when we're done we take the Father's hand and go home. The following story shows us the voice of experience - we can learn a lot from a child's perspective... Sandcastles by
