Speaking Truth

Bible Reference:  Mark 8:31

Jesus is teaching his disciples.   Jesus wasn't the most popular person with the government of the day.

Martin Luther nailed his thesis on the church door and run for his life.
He had to let go of all he'd been taught.   He had to be transformed in his mind and life.

Jesus was crucified.   John 18:37 - Jesus came to speak about the truth.  Jesus came primarily to witness truth to the world; if we want to find truth, we find God.   He wants to transform your life in your relationship with Him.

Isaiah 53 (v10).  There is only way that God's purpose will be achieved; through the person of Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 1:3-8.  It's not our information of a person that makes us know a person; you have to spend time with the person. God has given us great and precious gifts.  Salvation is a great and precious gift.   God gives us the ability to overcome the impulses that try to destroy us.

God saves us to walk with him and have a God mentality.   Self-control,  charity,  kindness,  patience.  Relationship is walking together and caring for each other. We will endure.  As we learn to be godly,  we will have Christian affection for each other.  In the Church today,  offense is one of the greatest problems in the church today.   It's a spiritual issue.  Most of the epistles that Paul and Peter wrote were to families and extended families.

When you get this Christian affection and we start to love as God loves,  then the offense goes.

2 Peter 1:3-8
Isaiah 26:3-4

The Lord gives perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him.

Acts 20:24-28  Paul is preaching the kingdom of God.   If we want to see a change in our culture and nation,  we need to seriously preach the Kingdom of God.

When we finish this race of life, can we say that we did everything to preach the Gospel of salvation?

He wants good shepherd's for the church,  because Jesus brought with his blood.

We are not to hide.  In Australia,  the church has hidden and now the nation doesn't know him.

Our prayers need to be about what God wants.   The governing of our land?  Pray it's the leadership God wants.   Churches need good shepherds.  Families need to run as God wants so they are safe, successful.

Ephesians 1:11

You were chosen according to the purpose of God the Father.   Your salvation is given by grace of God; the life you now lead should be one of obedience.

Revelation 22:18 - don't add or take away from the word of God.

We are called to live a separated life.  We are called to walk the way of God; not the wisdom of the world.   He chose you according to the purpose of the Father,  we are saved and purified by the blood of Jesus.

You were called to have the nature of God.

The price of our salvation was great.  It cost Jesus his life.  Jesus laid down his life, and took it up again.

John 17:23 - I am loved by God my Father,  just he loves Jesus.  When we take offense and fight do we show that?  No.

Romans 8:1 - I am free forever from God's judgment because Jesus dealt with my sin when I am in Christ. We don't walk after the world,  but according to the spirit.

Hebrews 10:14 - forgiven of all our sins.  We can't accept Jesus and then go back to our old life.

We aren't believers, we are disciples.   Even Satan believes,  but he is not a disciple.

Roman's 6:14. I don't have to fear anything nor fear death.  It doesn't mean bad things won't happen,  but we don't live under the fear.
Jeremiah 31:34. I am free from the lie that God remembers and keeps a tab on our sin. He doesn't.
Isaiah 54:17 You are righteous because you trust Jesus.
Hebrews 10:10 Through the death and blood of Jesus Christ,  we are set free.

The Voice of Experience

Bible readings from Sunday 16th January Message: Acts 17:26-27 Galations 6:7 Genesis Chapter 1:1 Eccelesiates Chapter 3 Romans 2:14-15 Ecclesiates 2:18 1 Corinthians chapter 13 Matthew 5:1-12 10 Commandments - Exodus chapter 20:1-17 We want the world to be fair, but it isn't.  Our view of what is fair may be different from another's view of what is fair.  People deny the existence of God, but that does not mean God does not exist.  Walk through Israel and surrounding areas to see historical evidence.  Look at creation.  Genesis chapter one verse 1 says "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." We don't know from one day to the next what will happen but God is our constant.  We are not here to build "castles" but to proclaim the Message and when we're done we take the Father's hand and go home. The following story shows us the voice of experience - we can learn a lot from a child's perspective... Sandcastles by
