Justification- justified before Christ.   Message of the cross.   If Jesus did not die, there would be no remission of sin. Santification is you working out your salvation with the Lord. Live a life that takes a clean path.  Take authority over our lives in Christ. Live as Christ commands.  It is not instant.  It takes time.   It involves you and God. We cannot work our to salvation.  Once we have it when then work through it. Romans 5:1 Justification - being saved. Santification - holiness You may not be in heaven yet, but you are in kingdom of God. As God's child, You have all the resources of heaven at your disposal. 1 John 3:9 When the seed of God is in you; you are no longer a sinner.  When you are saved, in God's eyes you are no longer a sinner.   God now wants to sanctify you. Romans 5:1 - we have peace with God because we are right with God.  Because of what God is doing in our life.  Our justification comes through our faith in Jesus Christ.   God sees us a someone worthwhile for God to invest His time in. Each of us should use the gifts God has given us to build, not tear down.  To do worthwhile work and edify the Church. Galations 2:16 - Galations was written because people came along and said Christians had to keep the Law and they became confused.  Law shows us our shortcomings; but cannot save us. There is no act we can do to be saved.  God gave us the Law (Ex 20).  Matthew 22:37-40 - first act of life as a Christian.   Loving our neighbors as we love ourselves is act of ministry. We all deserved to be judged because we have sinned. Jesus won victory over death.   We will either live eternally with God or etetnally without Him. Eph 2:3 1.  If I break the Law, I deserved to be punished. 2.  Mercy is not getting punishment for what you deserve. 3.  I got what I did not deserve - GRACE goes the extra step. We do not deserve forgiveness of our sins; but God through Jesus gave us a way to be eternally with Him. 1 Peter 2:22, 23-24 The only way to be saved is faith in Jesus and what He did on the cross. There is nothing you can do to be saved except put your faith in Jesus Christ. We can only trust in t
